It’s officially December (woo-hoo!) and I’m back with my third edition of Savvy Style Christmas Gifts! I’ve already covered gifts for under $100.00 and under $75.00, and this week I’m bringing you Christmas Gifts for under $50.00. As Christmas gets closer and closer (and your Christmas shopping list starts getting longer and longer), it’s time to get wiser with your money and find great gifts at a fabulous prices. Ahead of the game (unlike me…I haven’t even started. Oops!) and already done your shopping? Not a prob! It’s never too late to add gifts to your wish-list (plus, with prices like these I’m sure Santa would be willing to put one extra present under the tree this year!).

Hair Tools and Accessories

Amika Glitzy Gold & Pink Leopard Mini Ceramic Styler – $29.00

I love that Christmas is a time to ask for things that we want, rather than things that we need. If I really needed something, I would go out and buy it myself (I can’t be the only one). It’s the items that I want but feel guilty about spending money on that I put on my wish-list. I already own a regular sized straightening iron, a curling iron, and a Sultra (which means I have my fair share of hair styling tools), however, a girl always wants more. I love this mini straightener from Sephora. Obviously I adore the colours (you can’t go wrong with pink and gold), love the pattern (animal print!) and find it super practical (it’s small enough to fit in your bag). Bangs will thank Santa for this gift.

Magazine Subscription

Vogue 1 year subscription – $50.00

This gift to me feels a bit like a throw-back to way back when. You know what I’m talking about, right? When I was a kid it was all the rage to get magazine subscriptions for Christmas… but those were the days when I was getting subscriptions to YM, Seventeen, and Soap Opera Digest (I had a thing for the dramatics from a very young age).  Now that we’re all a bit older (and our style and taste has evolved) why not put a magazine subscription on your list or purchase one for the fashionista in your life? You know that you are/she is grabbing Vogue off the magazine shelf every month anyways, so why not save the hassle?

Makeup Bag or Case

Ted Baker Glitter Bow Cosmetic Bag – $44.74

I can always use another cosmetic bag. I don’t know how it happens, but before I know it my current bag is always over flowing and just doesn’t seem to fit all my items (or no longer appears that pretty… say after a makeup explosion. It happens to the best of us).  I love having a makeup bag that is so cute you don’t mind pulling it out anywhere to touch up your face. This bag, with the glittery bow, would be a great gift for any girl.

Winter Accessories

Betsey Johnson Ice Princess, Neck warmer and Half Finger Gloves – $32.99

Looking for a safe gift? Something to get someone you don’t know that well? Something a little less intimate?  Look no further than winter accessories.  Winter accessories are a great gift this holiday season as they can be fun, stylish, practical, and appropriate. I love scarf and glove combos, and this Betsey Johnson combo is super cute with these embellishments (cause isn’t everything a little bit better with some bling?)

Wow… I really went pink with these gifts for under $50.00.  Next week I’ll be back with Christmas Gifts for under $25.00 for us last minute shoppers and for stocking stuffing! In the meantime, have fun shopping/decorating your tree/ho-liday party hopping!

Until next time…

KatelynD
